This patient initially came in for a rhinoplasty consult. After discussing her goals to balance her overall profile, Dr. Gerecci recommended a chin implant at the same time as rhinoplasty. A small sized chin implant was placed using an incision inside the mouth. The procedure was performed in the OR under general anesthesia as the patient was already undergoing rhinoplasty. The patient is pictured here 1 month after surgery. Note the improved chin projection and balance to the profile after surgery.
